Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get access?

tuner.social is currently in invite-only beta. Join the waitlist at tuner.social and you'll get an invite when your spot opens.

Do I need to connect a channel?

To get personalized scores, yes. Your subscriber count and engagement rate are the baseline difficulty is measured against. You can browse without one, but scores won't be specific to you.

Why is a keyword "Winnable" for me but would be "Tough" for someone else?

Because difficulty is personalized. The same term is genuinely harder for a small channel than a large one. tuner.social scores it relative to your channel, so two creators can see different scores for the same keyword — that's the point.

Which platforms are supported?

YouTube. We add a platform only when its search results can be measured for real — no estimates dressed up as data. That bar currently rules out other platforms, and we'd rather be honest about that than promise a date.

Can I connect more than one channel?

Yes. Each channel gets its own tracked keywords, scores, and rank history; switch the active channel from the header. Your plan's keyword limit is shared across channels.

How fresh is the data?

Search results are fetched live and cached briefly. Tracked keywords are re-checked by the Rank Tracker on your plan's schedule — weekly on Free and Starter, daily on Pro and Agency — so you can watch your position move over time.

How accurate are the scores?

Scores are estimates from the signals available, and the model is being actively calibrated against expert human judgment before paid launch. They're directionally reliable — treat them as a strong input to your decision, not a guarantee.

What's the difference between a search and a tracked keyword?

A keyword check is a one-off look. Tracking a keyword saves it, counts it toward your plan limit, and adds it to the Rank Tracker for scheduled re-checks.
